Maintain high crew coordination and professionalism in all duties. Comply with FARs, TSA, DOT regulations, and company policies. Advocate directly to the Captain on passenger safety perceptions.

Requirements

  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Ability to reach overhead to stow luggage (minimum 80-inch arm reach)
  • Valid passport for potential international travel
  • Physical ability to perform emergency procedures including evacuation and CPR
  • Availability to work irregular schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Pass FAA-required background check, drug screening, and medical evaluation
  • Ability to swim 25 yards unaided

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Captain in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight from planning through termination
  • Comply with all applicable FARs, TSA, DOT regulations, company procedures and policies
  • Perform the correct and timely completion of all duties assigned by the company or Captain
  • Conduct preflight inspection of all cabin emergency equipment as outlined in the Inflight Manual
  • Promptly report any mechanical discrepancies to the Captain
  • Advocate directly and clearly to the Captain perceptions relative to passenger safety
  • Maintain a high degree of crew coordination and professionalism
  • Complete required records and reports
