About this role

Alerion Aviation is looking for First Officers to join our Hawker Fleet for Part 135/91 operations based out Opa-locka, FL (OPF). As a First Officer, you are highly motivated, extremely organized, service-driven, and safety minded. You will support the Captain in all flight activities.

You are responsible for supporting the Captain in conducting flights in accordance with the company’s policy and procedures as well as within FAA regulations and guidelines. This role demands precision in high-stakes aviation environments. Compliance and safety drive every decision.

Requirements

  • Must have ATP License
  • 2000 Total Flight Time (all aircraft) / 500 PIC
  • 1500 Multi Engine / 100 PIC
  • 150 Instrument
  • Current and valid First Class FAA Medical Certificate
  • Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally without restrictions
  • No accidents, incidents, or FAA violations within the last 5 years
  • Live within a 2 hour driving radius of the Opa-locka, FL (OPF) Airport

Responsibilities

  • Support the Captain in conducting flights in accordance with company policy and procedures
  • Operate as Second-in-Command (SIC) on Hawker 800XP aircraft
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and guidelines during all operations
  • Maintain safety standards in Part 135/91 flight activities
  • Assist in pre-flight planning and post-flight documentation
  • Monitor aircraft systems and instruments throughout flight phases
  • Coordinate cockpit communications with air traffic control
