Flight Dispatcher

Voyageur Aviation Corp. delivers innovative solutions for unique aviation requirements, including advanced engineering, maintenance, part sales, logistics, aircraft leasing, and contract flying operations worldwide. As a key member of the Dispatch team, the Flight Dispatcher reports to the Manager, Dispatch, creating operational flight plans and coordinating with Air Traffic Control, Pilots, Flight Attendants, and Maintenance to ensure compliance with company policies. This permanent shift work position is based at North Bay, ON facilities.

Flight Dispatchers continuously monitor weather conditions, provide route and weather analysis to flight and ground crew, and handle flight following with detailed plans. They exercise joint responsibility with the Pilot in Command for operational control and safety of flights, initiating emergency response procedures as needed. They also advise personnel on operational concerns like delays, cancellations, payload restrictions, and ground support.
