Join Vanderlande as an Electrical & Control Maintenance Engineer at Hong Kong International Airport, T2. Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems for automated baggage handling equipment. Work shift hours of 8 or 12 hours in a safety-first environment.

Conduct electrical fault finding on conveyors, ICS, EBS, NERAK lifts, and other systems. Inspect and test components for safety and functionality, then replace or install new parts as needed. Maintain accurate records through CMMS and submit technical reports after resolving incidents.

Supervise maintenance technicians and coordinate with partners on troubleshooting activities. Collaborate with Spare Parts Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator to manage spare parts availability. Work effectively with engineers, technicians, and operational staff.

Propose improvements to preventive maintenance programs to avoid breakdowns and boost performance. Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations, codes, and quality standards. Thrive in a high-safety prioritized setting at a busy international airport.

Requirements

  • Technical bachelor’s degree/diploma in Electrical or similar
  • At least 5 years’ experience in maintenance of automated Baggage Handling System, Material Handling Systems or similar
  • Experience with fault finding on conveyors, ICS, EBS, and NERAK lifts
  • Proficiency in electrical inspection, testing, and component replacement
  • Familiarity with CMMS for maintenance records
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and quality standards for electrical work

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
  • Provide technical support and expertise to maintenance teams
  • Tackle electrical fault finding on equipment like Conveyors, ICS, EBS, NERAK lift and other automated systems
  • Inspect and test electrical components for safety and functionality
  • Replace or install new electrical systems and components as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work through CMMS
  • Prepare and submit Technical Reports upon resolving incidents
  • Propose improvements on preventive maintenance programs to prevent breakdowns and improve performance
