As a Ramp Agent with Alliance Ground International (AGI), you will be essential in ensuring flights run on time by providing efficient ground support services. You will guide inbound and outbound airplanes to and from the gate while operating heavy equipment like pushback tugs and belt loaders. Transport, lift, load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, cargo, and mail into aircraft bins or carts safely. Safeguard items from weather, loss, theft, damage, or destruction.

Clean aircraft passenger cabins between flights, stock supplies, and handle special items like wheelchairs, strollers, and live animals. Operate motorized equipment including air start units, lift trucks, lavatory carts, and deicers to move luggage, tow planes, and service aircraft. Receive, record, and deliver cargo and baggage while completing required paperwork.

Requirements

  • Cooperate with manager/supervisor to comply with legal requirements

  • Carry out work in accordance with provided training and safety procedures
  • Complete all required training by company, airport authority, or customer

Responsibilities

  • Guide inbound/outbound airplanes to and from the gate
  • Transport, lift, load/unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, cargo, and mail material in and out of aircraft bins, belt loader, or baggage carts in a safe manner
  • Safeguard customer baggage, air cargo, airmail from weather, loss, theft, damage and/or destruction
  • Clean aircraft passenger cabins between flights and stock aircraft with needed supplies
  • Operate heavy equipment such as pushback equipment and maintain visual contact with Wing Walkers
  • Operate and drive motorized equipment such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, push back tugs, bag cart, lavatory cart, and deicers
  • Receive and record customer baggage, air freight, mail, and company materials as required
  • Pick up, deliver, and transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft, including wheelchairs, strollers, live animals
