About this role

We are inviting expressions of interest from qualified Multi-Engine Helicopter Pilots to join our Aviation & Critical Services team. The available position is a permanent full-time opportunity as an H145 Touring Pilot, commencing in the second half of 2026. Babcock MCS conducts emergency service and medical transport operations throughout Australia.

Successful applicants will conduct these flying operations in a 15 days on / 13 days off roster pattern. This touring position involves serving a purpose in our community. Join an experienced team in performing critical aviation services.

Requirements

Hold, or have ability to hold, an AGSVA Baseline security clearance
CASA ATPL
Class 1 Medical
Instrument Rating with MEH endorsement and minimum 3 renewals
2500+ hrs total helicopter
1500+ hrs PIC helicopter
500+ hrs PIC MEH, not including ICUS
H145 type rating and 100+hrs experience on type
NVIS rating
Low-level rating

Responsibilities

Conduct emergency service and medical transport operations throughout Australia
Perform flying operations as H145 Touring Pilot on 15 days on / 13 days off roster
Operate multi-engine helicopters in instrument and night conditions
Utilize NVIS rating for low-level flying missions
Execute PIC responsibilities on H145 with type experience
Support community purpose through aviation critical services
