About this role

The Crew Controller Executive provides daily supervision of flight and cabin crew rosters to guarantee legal compliance, appropriate crew numbers on flights, and effective monitoring of crew pairing rotations. This role ensures allocation of duties in accordance with the Flight Time Limitations (FTL) Scheme. Operational efficiency relies on precise roster management.

Prepare and confirm all accommodation and transport requirements as booked by the planning team or for day-to-day needs. Amend booking details for the published roster and transmit crew APIS to destinations. These tasks support seamless crew movements across the network.

Identify issues and suggest improvements for proactive standby coverage and duty day scheduling. Answer crew-related enquiries through appropriate channels of communication. Anticipate and coordinate required changes to the flying program, including liaison with other departments and advising stations of crew allocation changes.

Manage day-to-day disruptions to the airline's flying schedule. Work in a shift-based environment requiring proficiency in Google Sheets and a positive attitude with team spirit. Familiarity with aviation operations enhances coordination across teams.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one year of experience in the aviation industry or a degree related to aviation (preferred)
  • Familiarity with AIMS software (advantage)
  • Experience in the operations department (advantage)
  • Knowledge of crew flight and duty time limitations (preferable)
  • Proficient in the English language (written and oral)
  • High school education cleared or higher (high level of Maths proficiency preferred)
  • Good knowledge of Google suites (Google Sheets especially)
  • Must be willing to work in shifts with a positive attitude and team spirit
