Oversight includes gate planning and daily schedule integrity for American Eagle branded flights. Control aircraft movement into and out of ramp and gate areas safely and efficiently. Coordinate with Air Traffic Control to prioritize high-value flights without impacting airport surface movements.

Communicate clearly and effectively with work groups, vendors, and management levels to meet local station requirements and support safety objectives. Provide support and oversight for agents handling weight and balance planning. Assist management with additional administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 18
  • High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
  • Valid, unexpired, and unsuspended state driver's license
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating days off
  • Ability to actively listen and understand points being made by others
  • Ability to use sound business judgment to resolve issues with customers
  • Ability to monitor performance of self, team, and operations for improvements
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary management control of aircraft gate planning and aircraft ramp movement
  • Provide oversight of gate planning and daily schedule integrity
  • Communicate pertinent information clearly to work groups, vendors, and management to meet station requirements and support safety
  • Support and oversee agents tasked with weight and balance planning for each American Eagle branded flight
  • Control aircraft movement into and out of ramp and gate areas safely and efficiently for all carriers
  • Coordinate with Air Traffic Control so high-value flights receive priority without impacting surface movements
  • Make decisions on holding or pushing flights using available tools and resources
  • Assist management in completing additional administrative duties
