The Airline Baggage Handler verifies passenger boarding passes with checked bags and moves them to the security screening induction system. This physically demanding role requires on-the-job security training and obtaining airport security badges. Employees communicate effectively, asking safety and security questions to each passenger.

Load passenger luggage onto the security screening induction belt and work closely with airline ticket counter agents. Stand, stoop, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 75 lbs consistently throughout the shift. Maintain a professional appearance with clean uniforms, covering tattoos, and adhering to grooming standards.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to clear a background and drug screen
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs consistently throughout the shift
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, push, pull throughout entire shift
  • Experience in customer service preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to obtain an airport badge and complete all required training

Responsibilities
