The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer supports the safe and efficient operation of aircraft by assisting with inspections, maintenance, repairs, and modifications. This role ensures all assigned aircraft comply with company standards, customer requirements, and Transport Canada regulations.

Daily tasks include carrying out maintenance, repairs, and modifications on aircraft, completing worksheets and documentation for work accomplished, and inspecting company aircraft and related systems. Responsibilities also involve reporting unserviceable equipment and issues affecting aircraft serviceability to the Shift Supervisor. Compliance with the company Maintenance Control Manual and all safety practices is essential.

Requirements

  • Completed a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course and hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME license
  • Experience with King Airs and Falcons preferred; Gulfstreams an asset
  • Valid Canadian passport as some travel is required
  • Strong decision making, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Knowledge of airframe and power plant systems
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations

Responsibilities

  • Assist in carrying out maintenance, repairs, and modifications on aircraft
  • Complete worksheets and required documentation for work accomplished
  • Report on unserviceable maintenance equipment
  • Carry out inspections, maintenance, and repairs of company aircraft and related systems
  • Report to the Shift Supervisor on issues affecting aircraft serviceability
  • Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with company Maintenance Control Manual and Transport Canada Regulations
  • Comply with all company safety practices and procedures
