About this role

Seeking an experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer EASA B1 to join the Working Party department at Airbus in Broughton. Oversee complex aircraft repair projects from initial planning through embodiment and release to service. Act in a certifying capacity while coordinating the on-site team to deliver on time, on cost, and on quality.

Lead the Airbus working party team mainly at customer facilities worldwide, managing competencies, allocating work, and carrying out inspections. Certify aircraft repair tasks by issuing the Certificate of Release to Service per EASA/FAR Part 145 regulations. Ensure airworthiness and compliance with Airbus 145 procedures as a core responsibility.

Serve as the focal point for customers on-site, building trust through clear communication. Collaborate with a diverse international team and colleagues from around the world. Involves extensive global travel to experience different countries and cultures.

Support development of special working party tools and Service Bulletins. Provide advisory support to airlines and MROs in troubleshooting and repair embodiment. Benefit from personalised development plans, Airbus Leadership University, and international mobility opportunities.

Requirements

  • EASA B1 license
  • Experience as Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
  • Solid background in heavy maintenance, manufacturing, or cargo conversion
  • Knowledge of structural repair activities
  • Familiarity with EASA/FAR Part 145 regulations
  • Experience with Airbus 145 procedures
  • Ability to certify aircraft repairs and issue Certificate of Release to Service
