Join United Ground Express as a Part-Time Ramp Agent in Savannah, supporting UPS operations. Handle baggage, cargo, and aircraft servicing to ensure smooth flights. This physically demanding role requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Daily tasks include lifting items up to 70 lbs., pushing carts, and driving tugs or belt loaders for loading and unloading. Ascend jet-way stairs, bend to stack cargo, and clean aircraft interiors including lavatories. Read load sheets, tags, and labels to prepare aircraft securely.

Communicate via radio with coworkers and flight crew while complying with United and FAA regulations. Operate ground equipment and use computers or mobile devices as needed. Expect variable shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Must acquire and maintain credentials including fingerprint clearance, airport badging, and background check
Successful completion of pre-employment process including drug screen, hearing, and vision check
Available to work any shift including day/night, weekends, holidays; mandatory overtime may be required
Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 70 lbs.
Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
