The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer performs and ensures safe, compliant completion of all aircraft maintenance activities and documentation.

Day-to-day duties include completing maintenance on aircraft in the hangar and on the ramp, verifying documentation accuracy, and certifying installed components. Work follows the maintenance control manual and Transport Canada standards while maintaining a clean, safe environment. Assist with planning inspections, overhauls, and coordinating with vendors for aircraft availability.

Collaborate with flight crew and operations for maximum aircraft readiness and dispatch reliability. Demonstrate professionalism consistent with corporate and private aviation operations. Adhere to the Safety Management System Policy in all activities.

Requirements

  • Valid Transport Canada M2 license
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience
  • Endorsement on Global 5000 is a requirement
  • ACA, Avionics Technician license considered an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and forecast maintenance activities, including inspections and component overhauls

Responsibilities

  • Perform and ensure the proper completion of all maintenance activities related to Skyservice aircraft, both in the hangar and on the ramp
  • Ensure aircraft documentation is complete and accurate
  • Ensure that all components installed on aircraft are properly certified
  • Perform duties in accordance with the appropriate maintenance control manual and Transport Canada regulatory standards
  • Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times
  • Assist with maintenance planning and forecasting, including scheduling of inspections, component overhauls, and long-term maintenance events
  • Coordinate with maintenance control, vendors, and service providers to support scheduled maintenance and aircraft availability
  • Work collaboratively with flight crew and operations to ensure maximum aircraft readiness and dispatch reliability
