About this role

The Operations Control Center Coordinator coordinates and communicates activities listed on the schedule. This role is a key component to the execution and delivery of requested service items. Requests submitted via phone, email, ARINC, text message, or other resources are received and delivered to corresponding team members.

Anticipate and ensure all ramp operations are delivered on time, including fuel, ground power, ground transportation, lavatory, potable water, ice, coffee, papers, and catering. Communicate these items to the ramp lead in a timely manner and follow up on service completion. Input and update reservations into schedule programs and software.

Assist customers with requested services such as catering, hotel accommodations, and ground transportation. Keep the department manager informed by reporting lapses in service as soon as possible. Communicate daily briefings with updates and hand downs using proper etiquette via email, radio, and other methods.

Maintain a high standard of professional appearance at all times. Perform other duties as required, adapting to environmental changes to accomplish tasks without compromising safety. Work effectively as a team member, receiving constructive criticism from peers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year within either Customer Service or Line Service department or applicable experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Adaptability and availability to cover shifts at short notice
  • Available to work weekends/holidays
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be very organized
  • Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure
