First Officer

Calm Air International is a regional airline serving the Northern part of Central Canada from bases in Winnipeg, Thompson, Churchill, Manitoba, and Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. We operate frequent daily scheduled passenger, charters, and cargo flights throughout Manitoba and the Kivalliq Region. We value customers, passengers, and communities we serve.

Reporting to the Chief Pilot, the First Officer assists the captain in ensuring safe and efficient aircraft operation. This includes assisting with inspections and maintaining clear communication with flight crew and grounds staff. Conduct flights with strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, Canadian Aviation Regulations, Aircraft Flight Manual, and Company Operations Manual.

Work independently as well as part of a skilled team in a fast-paced environment. Share skills at all bases throughout Manitoba and Nunavut. Gain experience at a wide range of facilities while operating ATR 42 and ATR 72 fleet types.

Stable schedule with pairings from 1-6 days, minimums of 80 credits, and overtime at 85 credits. The sky is the limit for highly motivated individuals. Preference given to Inuit Land Claims Beneficiaries.
