The GSE Duty Manager oversees 10-15 mechanics, scheduling all maintenance services, parts ordering, and compliance with airport, DOT regulations, and Menzies Aviation policies. Responsible for all repair and maintenance actions during other shifts. The team provides preventive care and timely repairs to ensure aircraft services operate effectively and safely.

Plans, organizes, and directs work to meet objectives efficiently using personnel, facilities, and equipment. Establishes performance standards, adherence to practices, and programs for parts acquisition, storage, and accountability. Conducts regular inspections of equipment and maintains detailed records of fleet vehicles.

Develops and oversees an effective work safety program while ensuring all work follows established procedures. Committed to health, safety, and wellbeing with provided training and rules. Prohibits substance misuse with regular testing to maintain a safe environment for all.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Possess valid US driver's license with a clean driving record
  • ASE Certification preferred
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing
  • Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
  • Comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • Available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, and directs the work of duties to meet objectives with efficient use of personnel, facilities, and equipment
  • Establishes performance standards for each phase of work
  • Ensures adherence to standard practices and quality specifications for all work performed
  • Establishes a program for the acquisition, storage, and accountability of all parts, materials, tools, and equipment
  • Maintains detailed record keeping of all fleet vehicles
  • Makes regular inspections of the condition of all equipment and systems, reporting findings and corrective actions
  • Remotely diagnoses vehicle problems and quickly problem solves
  • Develops and oversees an effective work safety program
